What I collect
The generator itself collects nothing. Animal picks happen in your browser, and I don’t store which animals you generate, how many times you spin, or anything you copy. Your favorites, dark mode preference, and quiz best score are saved only in your own browser’s local storage and never leave your device.
Cookies and analytics
I may use privacy-respecting analytics to count page visits, such as which pages are popular and which country visitors come from. This data is aggregated and can’t identify you. I don’t run tracking cookies for advertising.
Third-party services
Fonts load from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address as part of serving the files. See Google’s privacy policy for details. I’m working on self-hosting the fonts, which will remove this entirely.
Some pages link out to external sites such as Encyclopaedia Britannica, museum collections, and research journals. Those sites have their own privacy policies and I have no control over what they collect.
Children
This site is designed to be safe for children. I don’t collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
